UHD 4K VIDEO RECORDING IN XAVC S FORMAT
4K video recording is possible at 30fps. Full HD 1080p recording is possible at 120fps. Both resolutions support 100Mb/s XAVC S format. You can do slow motion 4x and 5x movie recording with the 120fps recording mode. You also get uncompressed HDMI output , which enables the use of an optional external recorder for clean recording with 4:2:2 8bit sampling.
With the SONY A7C camera, you can adjust color level, black level, gamma,knee and more. You also get s-Log2 Gamma Curve, which is found in high end sony cameras, enabling you to get up to 1300% more dynamic range into the video signal – for increased post production flexibility.
S-Log3 is also available for producing an 14- stop dynamic range with increased grading control in the shadow to mid tone regions of the image.
BODY DESIGN
The SONY A7C Mirrorless Camera has got a lightweight body design, with a layer of steel on top of the body and a rangefinder inspired layout. All these make the sony A7C a stylish and portable camera for everyday use. Compared to the old A7 series camera, the A7C is approx 20% smaller and lighter than the older models. A 0.39″ type XGA OLED electronic viewfinder is also there in the camera, featuring 2.36m-dot resolution and 0.59x magnification for bright, clear view in high detail.
The rear 3 inch LCD features a side open vari angle design , which helps when working from high low and front facing angles. Its a touch screen with controls.
Magnesium-alloy chassis along with a weather-sealed design offers a durable overall construction for use in a variety of conditions.
Built in 3.5mm earphone and microphone jack allows for greater audio recording capabilities
Bluetooth connectivity allows for location data acquisition.
The large capacity lithium ion battery allows for upto 740 shots in single charge.
USB 3.2 type C Gen1 port allows for fast tethering support, and also allows the camera to charge itself from the host power.
Single SD Memory card slot is provided for faster data speeds.
Built in wifi allows the Sony A7C for instant photo sharing to other devices, social network and cloud storage.
Wireless tethered shooting support is there due to the support for 2.4Ghz and 5GHz WiFi.
